Kenn Freed

“When reflecting on my career so far, I don’t remember the specific tax situations or total returns on investments, but instead the lives that I have touched and the relationships with clients that I have had the pleasure to build.”

After leaving Arthur Anderson in 1975, Kenn founded the accounting firm Freed Investment Group. While working with clients on the tax side for many years, Kenn began to help clients with their trusts, prompting him to found Freed Investment Group (FIG) in 1995. FIG served approximately 80 clients and $260 million of investable assets prior to merging with Lexington Wealth in 2021. FIG had a similar culture alignment to Lexington, with an emphasis on client services and focusing on both the soft and technical side of investments. Kenn has added immense depth of knowledge to Lexington Wealth and is always the first one to crack a joke.

Kenn was the incorporator of the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition, the Coalition of the Human Rights Campaign, and the Treasurer of the Holocaust Memorial in Boston. He currently resides in Back Bay.
