• The economy added 638,000 jobs in October, bringing the unemployment rate to 6.9%, according to the latest Jobs report released yesterday.
• An additional 751,000 new unemployment initial claims were filed on the week ending October 31st, a decrease of 7,000 from the prior revised week.
• The total number of people collecting unemployment benefits decreased to 7,285,000 a decrease of about  538,000 from the previous week.
• U.S. Stocks closed their best week since April in the aftermath of election results.  Here’s an article from the Wall Street Journal highlighting some reasoning behind it.

• States across the country continue to update their business opening timelines & guidelines. You can see the updated list for as of November 6th.
• Massachusetts updated the list of “lower risk” states for those visiting the state. California was removed from the list this past week. To learn about the travel requirements, please take a look at the travel form here and share it with those visiting the state.
