Danielle Gottessman

Wellness & Self-Care Coach

Danielle is a Certified Wellness & Self-Care Coach. Her vast background in journalism led her to a career at WGBH and PBS International and ultimately inspired her through personal experience to understand that balance was best achieved by making time to kindle the creative and personal fires we tend to let smolder amidst the demands of career and parenthood. Her path evolved to inspire service as a Wellness Coach.

She is a writer by training and trade but started teaching Pilates in 2000 on the side. She went on to certify as a health coach when she found herself offering lifestyle and nutritional guidance to clients as a passion in these areas grew simultaneously. When diagnosed with a gluten allergy in 2008, the doors of nutrition opened wider, so to speak, and she stepped in to understand what it meant to achieve health amidst a tricky world of allergens, pesticides, and chemicals.

Meditation for Entrepreneurs

The entrepreneur’s life can feel like riding a roller-coaster while drinking from a fire hose. The practice of meditation is taking your seat on this roller coaster with courage and an open heart. Then, throughout your life, meditative awareness shows you how to regain your balance when you lose it. Jim Rosen will lead you through a simple meditation practice designed for busy entrepreneurs as well as an exercise to help you bring this into daily life.

Time, Money & Joy

Time and money are in limited supply. Our desire to be happy has no limit. If the goal is to maximize family happiness, how do you reconcile Time Money & Joy (TM&J) on a day-to-day basis and when life’s crossroads surface? Understanding the basis of informed decisions (how much money you need), knowing "Your Number" and the root origin of your priorities is a critical component of this workshop.

Through self-awareness exercises, we will begin the discovery process of what truly brings you joy and how to “create” more time for these “flow” activities. The end result will be greater HPD (happiness per dollar) and greater HPH (happiness per hour). Going forward, you will make better decisions through the TM&J lens! Alex Honnold’s main “flow” is climbing, what is yours?
